HORSHAM, Pa. - September 21, 2017 – The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company (Penn Mutual) is pleased to announce Danny Noles, managing partner of Penn Mutual’s Alabama Agency, as president of the VETBHAM organization, a regional initiative focused on helping veterans.

Noles will join Al Wood, regional director of non-profit Still Serving Veterans, in leading the establishment of VETBHAM. The organization seeks to strengthen the community of Birmingham by empowering veterans and acknowledging their skills. Specifically, VETBHAM enlists the aid of local businesses in supporting and hiring veterans returning to their community.

Not only will this new initiative help to enhance local businesses, but the impact it will have on the returning veterans is unparalleled. VETBHAM was established in February, and is modeled after a similar program called VETLANTA. The initiative is endorsed by both the Birmingham Business Alliance and Birmingham Business Journal. With Noles recent appointment as president, he and Wood are currently looking to establish an executive committee to help further promote the organization.
