Liz Heitner

Liz Heitner is Chief Administrative Officer at The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. In this role, Heitner oversees strategic planning, workforce planning, talent strategy, communications, and engagement.

Heitner serves as an integrator and collaborator across the enterprise to deliver a premier employee experience in Penn Mutual’s modern, flexible work environment. She is responsible for the alignment of talent, cost structure, and operating model to drive performance while modernizing how we work through technological advancements and AI adoption.

Heitner has more than 20 years of leadership experience across human resources, talent, and transformation functions. She joined Penn Mutual in 2021 and previously held the role of Chief Human Resources Officer for Penn Mutual. Prior to Penn Mutual, Heitner held leadership roles at Synchrony, General Electric, and NCR Corporation. She holds a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and dual bachelor’s degrees in sociology and political science from the University of Georgia.
