Heather Nagengast

Heather Nagengast is President of 1847 Financial, LLC. 1847Financial is Penn Mutual’s national organization for affiliated Financial Professionals seeking the full scope of solutions in life insurance and wealth management, with the backing of strong mutual company. In this role, Nagengast is responsible for the growth of 1847Financial, including the alignment of Hornor, Townsend & Kent, LLC (HTK) within the organization.

Nagengast joined Penn Mutual in 2022, bringing 20 years of financial services experience and honing her focus through leadership roles in business development, financial planning, relationship management, recruiting and more. Prior to joining Penn Mutual, she served as President of Ameritas Investment Company/Ameritas Advisory Services, the broker-dealer and registered investment advisor (RIA) of Ameritas, and Senior Vice President, Agency and Advisor Distribution, at Ameritas.

Nagengast received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She holds her FINRA Series 7, 24 and 53 registrations and Nebraska insurance license.
